Heather Morris: 'Glee' star's photo shoot with Tyler Shields attracts controversy
The latest controversy over a "Glee" cast member's participation in a photo shoot doesn't revolve around whether the pictures are too sexy. Instead, some new portraits of Heather Morris are raising questions about whether they glamorize violence against women.Morris, who plays Brittany on "Glee," posed for photographer Tyler Shields in a series of shots in which she's dressed up in 1950s TV-housewife garb -- and has a big shiner under her left eye. (You can see the pics on Shields' website.) A number of commenters have taken issue with Shields for, as they see it, glorifying domestic abuse. About an equal number are defending the pictures.
For his part, Shields says in a bit of text accompanying the photos that he's exploring the idea that "Even Barbie bruises." The final shot of the sequence has Morris in the power position, holding an iron to Shields' groin.
So what do you think? Do Shields' portraits of Heather Morris cross a line, or are they within the boundaries of artistic expression?

From her Youtube videos she's a bit of attention ***** and all the pictures last week with black eyes got attention so apparently she can do math. She's super hot, love big legs, cyclist chicks are super hot.
try giving a good smile not a fake smile
anyone else see megan fox driving during rush hour here on the east coast?
GOD: No.
It's a satire. That translates to: "Don't take this seriously." I don't think it's anywhere near as effective as it might be but I recognize it as a satire in opposition to the idea. Once you recognize it as such then any argument against it because of its content is pretty ridiculous.
Well, not sure what to think here. The pics don't really affect me one way or the other. Knowing that in reality if it came down to it...Heather could kick this little wimpy photographer's butt in a heartbeat. Just let fly one of her high kicks and boom!...he'd be done! Not sure he meant offense by the pics...maybe if there is a message it's that what women went through back then was domestic abuse even if there weren't bruises! My mom could attest to it! Actually if he'd taken the photos without the bruise on her eye...they would've been great shots anyway.
I don't think the pictures are about domestic violence. When I first saw them and read the whole "Even Barbie bruises" thing I thought that it was saying that even pretty girls can be tough and badass. That's what my first impression was. Just because a woman has a black eye that doesn't automatically point to domestic violence.
