Evan Rachel Wood elbowed in face, loses tooth

Evan Rachel Wood, who once played the Vampire queen of Louisiana on HBO's "True Blood," has been defanged.

According to TMZ, Wood was hanging at a Paris nightspot when an out-of-control dancer elbowed her in the face, knocking out a tooth and giving her a fat lip.

TMZ adds that Wood, who coincidentally celebrates her birthday on Wednesday (Sept. 7), is already seeking a dentist to see about getting herself a new tooth.

Wood is in Europe promoting her upcoming movie "Ides of March" and the HBO miniseries "Mildred Pierce."
