Emmy Awards 2011: Christina Hendricks' red-carpet workout

Cards on the table: We're huge fans of Christina Hendricks, both on "Mad Men" and in life. So we're inclined to think that she's unlikely to do much wrong.

As such, we're giving a thumbs-up to her Emmy red carpet look. She joked (or maybe not) that her heavily jeweled Johanna Johnson dress weighed 20 pounds, which must have been fun to carry around on a rather warm Los Angeles afternoon.

But to our eyes, she carried it off pretty well. She was, as usual, showing a good amount of cleavage, but to our eyes it wasn't overwhelming and didn't detract from the incredible amount of detail on her dress.

Neither did the rest of her look, with simple hair and no other jewelry other than earrings. So, excellent dress and a light strength-training workout to boot? Hard to beat.
