Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher split speculation fueled by cryptic tweet

It was reported via Star Magazine Wednesday (Sept. 28) that Hollywood couple Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are supposedly headed for divorce amidst allegations of Ashton cheating. Now there is speculation that Demi's cryptic tweet on Sept. 23, the day before the couple's six-year anniversary, indicates a split.

Sites ranging from Perez Hilton to Monsters and Critics to the Toronto Sun have posted pieces regarding this tweet on Demi's official account:

"When we are offended at any man's fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger. -Epictetus."

The speculation says that while Ashton was allegedly out carousing on the couple's anniversary, this was Demi's way of hinting at the troubles in their marriage. Ashton's Twitter account is completely silent between Sept. 23 at 3 p.m. and Sept. 25 at 10 a.m.

We think the speculation is a bit of a stretch, but as the couple and their publicists are staying mum on the topic so far, everyone seems to be grasping at straws.
