Demi Lovato's letter to her fans: 'Last year everything stopped'

We had an early listen to Demi Lovato's new album, Unbroken, and we can confidently say that Lovato's fans are in for a fantastic treat when it hits stores on Tuesday.

In the meantime, Lovato shared a video letter to her fans, where she discusses turning a new page in her life and her new, more positive outlook. She also shares a bit of one of our favorite songs from the new record, "Fix a Heart."

"I never thought that I would live a life like this, but then one day I woke up and everything had changed," she says. "Last year everything stopped, and for the next three months I woke up in a treatment center every day, away from my family and friends. I spent a lot of time and holidays thinking there. I thought about the sadness that I felt, the pain that I was in, and the addictions that I was struggling from."
