Alyson Hannigan is not pregnant

Alyson Hannigan has an important message for folks who saw a photo of her at the Malibu Chili Cook Off on Friday (Sept. 2) sporting what could be construed as a baby bump.

"NO, I'm not pregnant!," the "How I Met Your Mother" star tweeted on Sunday. "I just ate too much carnival food, that time of the month, hurt my back & couldn't suck my gut in, & need 2 do cardio!"

"And I'm NEVER gonna wear that shirt again!" Hannigan added, admitting, "I do LOOK pregnant in that photo!

So there you have it: No baby. Just some super-yummy carnival food.

The 37-year-old actress has one daughter, two-year-old Satyana, with husband Alexis Denisof.
