T.I. released from prison, ready for reality (show)
Early Wednesday (Aug. 31) morning, rapper T.I. was released from an Arkansas prison and is headed to a halfway house where he'll finish up serving his 11-month sentence for a probation violation.According to MTV News, T.I. was released at 7:29 a.m. ET from the Forrest City Correctional Facility and will spend the next several months in an undisclosed location.
Still, the release was hardly shrouded in mystery. Just a couple of hours after his release, T.I. was already tweeting about his freedom.
"Feels great to be back where I belong," he tweeted to his 979,892 followers. "Back in the arms of those who need me the most."
In December, VH1 will premiere an as-yet untitled series that will chronicle T.I.'s post-prison road to redemption.
