Taylor Armstrong: On the scene when Russell Armstrong's body was discovered

Since the news of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Taylor Armstrong's estranged husband's suicide, details of the tragedy have emerged.

Now, TMZ reports that Taylor was present when Russell Armstrong's body was discovered by his landlord. Though the couple was separated, they were not incommunicado -- in fact, they were due to meet up on Monday afternoon.

When Russell didn't show up or answer her calls, Taylor called friends and family members. Ultimately, a friend accompanied Taylor to the house where Russell was staying. The owner of the property is the one who looked into Russell's bedroom window, saw his body hanging, and called 911.

According to reports, Taylor didn't leave the property until several hours later.

TMZ also says that Armstrong hasn't yet told her 5-year-old daughter, Kennedy, what happened to Russell. Her lawyer issued the following statement, "Taylor Armstrong is devastated by the tragic events that have unfolded. She requests privacy at this time so that she may comfort her young daughter."

Though several cast members of other shows within the "Real Housewives" franchise have spoken to the media, Bravo has requested that the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" not comment on the incident. They've canceled filming tomorrow and instead have called a cast meeting.
