Russell Brand offered role in Diablo Cody's 'Lamb of God'

Have Katy Perry's parent's prayers come true? Has Russell Brand found God?

Not quite, but he has found his way into Diablo Cody's directorial debut, "Lamb of God." According to Twitch Film, Brand has been offered the male lead role of William.

"Lamb of God" is about a young, conservative Christian woman who loses her faith and decides to move to Las Vegas to live a life of sin and, in turn, finds her way back to God.

Though no official casting for the female lead has been announced, his "Rock of Ages" costar, Julianne Hough, is said to be the top choice.
