Ricki Lake engaged to Christian Evans, announces it via Twitter

Ricki Lake, actress and erstwhile daytime talk-show host is ready to give marriage a second try. On Thursday (Aug. 11), Lake tweeted out news of her engagement to Christian Evans. The couple has been dating for a little more than a year, according to Us Weekly.

"Thrilled to share some happy news with you ... I'm engaged!" Lake tweeted, along with a photo of her new fiance. "The cat is out of the bag. Phew! I'm terrible at keeping secrets."

Lake divorced Rob Sussman in 2003 after nine years of marriage. She and Sussman have two sons, Milo, 14, and Owen, 9.
