Report: Amy Winehouse's home robbed following her death, unreleased songs stolen

amy-winehouse-autopsy-gi.jpgAmy Winehouse's London home was burglarized in the days following her death in July, and among the items her management team believes were stolen are unreleased songs and lyrics she had written for a future album.

Only two books of lyrics have officially been declared missing to police. But The Sun reports that several unreleased tracks, one of her guitars and a stash of letters are also gone. About 20 people have been in the house since her death on July 23 at age 27.

"This is such a sickening shock to the family," a source close to the family tells the newspaper. "That someone would stoop so low, they can't get their heads around it."

Winehouse's father, Mitch, is reportedly willing to let whoever removed the items return them without police involvement, but if that doesn't happen, he wants the perpetrators prosecuted.

Winehouse's family and her boyfriend, Reg Traviss, have been away from London for the past several days as they try to cope with her death.

There is some sick people in this world! That's horrible for her family to have to go through this after she passed.

I am sure that they have video cameras for survellence and hopefully they can bring the scum that prey on the dead and rob their homes during funerals to justice. I remember a wake when relatives were walking thru the house picking out stuff of the deceased that they wanted to take and I was sickenned by this behaviour !!!
