Rashida Jones' lesbian kissing advice from Natalie Portman

"Our Idiot Brother" premiered Friday (Aug. 26) nationwide. The Paul Rudd comedy features "Parks and Recreation" star Rashida Jones as a lesbian who is interested in Rudd's on-screen sister, played by Zooey Deschanel.

In preparation for the lesbian kissing, Jones tells Access Hollywood she got advice from Natalie Portman, who recently had some lesbian kissing scenes of her own for her Oscar-winning role in "Black Swan."

"I'm friends with Natalie and I asked her [what to expect]," says Rashida. "She was like, 'Dude, it's awkward to make out with your friends - I'm just warning you right now. It's super awkward!"

So how did it shake out for Rashida and Zooey?

"It was totally fun," says Rashida. "I mean, it was slightly awkward, only because Zooey and I have known each other for a long time. It's kind of weird to kiss your friends. But, you know, she's so pretty - she doesn't make it that hard!"

"I should give [Zooey] a name, right?" adds Rashida. "I would just call her 'Softy.' She's soft... very soft."
