Princess Beatrice: Which wedding hat do you prefer?

Princess Beatrice, the eldest daughter of royal ex Sarah Ferguson and Britain's Prince Andrew, managed to steal a healthy dose of the spotlight on April 29, 2011 from her cousin Prince William and his camera-friendly bride, the Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton). How did this 23-year-old formerly forgettable member of England's first family manage to turn our heads? It's all in the hat.

Beatrice drew our attention (and, truth be told, a fair bit of derision) when she wore an utterly over-the-top Philip Treacy hat that was likened to a tarted-up toilet, a pretzel, an octopus and even the female reproductive system.

On Saturday (July 30), Beatrice was back and hatted up for the wedding of cousin Zara Phillips. This time she chose something a little more conservative -- a turquoise topper perched jauntily on one side of her head. Any resemblance to a bowl containing petals of blue-scented potpourri or a massive suction cup is, we're sure, purely coincidental.

So, which had do you prefer for Beatrice? The over-the-top Treacy or the more demure blue fascinator?
