Obama hears 'Happy Birthday' from Jennifer Hudson, Herbie Hancock, OK Go and thousands more
It may not be quite as sultry as when Marilyn Monroe famously sang to JFK, but it certainly wasn't bad. Oscar winner and "American Idol" alum Jennifer Hudson, alongside Herbie Hancock and the band OK Go, led a Chicago crowd in a round of "Happy Birthday" to celebrate President Barack Obama's big day.Obama, who turned 50, used celebration as an opportunity to raise money for his 2012 re-election campaign. Attendees paid anywhere from $50 to $35,800 to go to the event at Chicago's historic Aragon Ballroom.
For a little extra fun, watch Obama's former Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, the current Mayor of Chicago, decline Hudson when she brings the microphone toward him.
