MTV VMAs 2011: Jonah Hill wows with his svelte self

News flash: Jonah Hill lost weight. A lot of weight. Enough weight that he could almost get away with wearing a brown leather jacket and tucked in plaid shirt to the VMAs in the middle of a Los Angeles heat wave. Almost.

We'd just like to go on record as saying that we are happy if Jonah's happy. As he pointed out while presenting an award with Nicki Minaj, the "Moneyball" co-star's got a new lease on life -- a trimmer Hill has better shot at "living past 40."

But, we'd also like to say: Hey Jonah, just because you've dropped the pounds (supposedly for "21 Jump Street") doesn't mean you need to lose yourself in some stylist's overly-contrived outfit. We liked your slacker slob aesthetic.

So, do us all a favor: First, spill on how you did it because we're ready to try something new. Then, go out and get yourself some new ironic t-shirts and a good old pair of Levi's to break in.
