Megan Fox dumps vegan diet to gain weight

The "Transformers" franchise isn't the only thing that Megan Fox is leaving behind. After a year and a half on a strict vegan diet, Fox is expanding her palette in hopes of packing on some pounds.
"[U]ntil about four months ago, I followed a strict vegan diet based on raw fruits and vegetables, no bread, sugar and coffee," says the skinny sex symbol, "...but I had lost too much weight. So now I eat a bit of everything. I train three times a week doing circuit training with my trainer Harvey Pasternak."
The diet change is one of several image overalls she is currently undertaking. Fox is removing a Marilyn Monroe tattoo from her arm in hopes of dispelling the "negative energy" associated with the icon.
So say goodbye to super skinny Megan and say hello to still enviably skinny Megan. Maybe a few extra pounds will help her get some laughs in her next project, comedy auteur Judd Apatow's upcoming "This Is Forty."

She can give up on the raw diet while still be vegan and gain weight.
As a vegan for 17 years, I've learned you can be healthy without going to extremes. It is almost impossible to get enough calories on a raw foods diet. Just eat normal - cooked food is ok, bread, pasta, some sugar is fine -don't stress out about every tiny ingredient, organic vs. non-organic, gmo - all ridiculous hype.
How completely absurd. There are all kinds of ways to have a non-violent lifestyle (veganism) without being so thin as to be unhealthy. Even raw veganism has healthy fats to offer... avocados, nuts, seeds, etc. This is very sad.
I'm Vegan and I am a little bit overweight! It's simply not true that all vegans are too skinny! That's a myth! There are lots of calories in nuts, beans, avacados, bread, vegan cheese, vegan burgers, vegan pasta...etc! Plant Based Protein is just better for our bodies, the animals don't have to suffer, the planet gets a break! So many more reasons to go the non-violent diet then just your weight issues!
-from vegan and healthy, and slightly overweight-
I think this is just a cheap publicity stunt. I have been vegan for years and I am not too skinny. There are plenty of tasty, high fat, high calorie vegan foods such as nuts of all kinds, dark chocolate, bread, etc.
what a bad excuse to quit being a vegan. You can be fat, skinny and anywhere in between on a vegan diet. It is all up to what you eat and consuming junk like dairy is only going to create greater risk to ones health and also cause a lot of unnecessary suffering. It is not a coincidence that vegans/vegetarians live longer. vegan for life!
There are certain vegan food that contain lots of fat, such as Avocado's or Garbanzo beans.
