LeAnn Rimes dissed over weight by fellow diner. We can't believe we're taking her side

We strongly believe that unless you have proof in hand that someone's weight -- either the lack thereof or the excess of -- is an immediate threat to their health, you should never speak of it to them. To other people, sure, just not to them. And we're sure anybody who has a nitpicking mother agrees.

While visiting Chicago with her husband, Eddie Cibrian, and his two sons this past weekend, a fellow diner interrupted their dinner to tell singer LeAnn Rimes she needs to eat more.

Naturally, LeAnn took to Twitter to express her outrage.

"How dare someone come to me at a table with the boys and tell me I need to eat something. What is wrong with people?"

"As I'm stuffing my face.... have another drink and maybe take a class in manners! Cheers!"

While we could do without her routine use of "Cheers!" as a sarcastic sign-off we found ourselves nodding along when she later tweeted, "Once again, I'm done talking to rude people who have no right to have an opinion on my body. Out of line ...If it happened to someone who wasn't a 'celebrity' it would be rude, but to a public figure it's socially [acceptable]?"

Now, sure, LeAnn does have quite the skinny pair of stems, but her arms look toned and she was eating at a restaurant. Shouldn't the mere act of her sitting at a table putting food in her mouth count for something?
