Lady Gaga's Santa's Workshop takeover: Madness on Madison Avenue

During the winter holidays, the Barney's store windows on Madison Avenue are a popular attraction for tourists and New Yorkers alike. Yes -- people stand in line in an NYC winter just to peer into windows.

This year, those windows will have a little extra bad romance. Lady Gaga is taking over Santa's Workshop at Barney's. Not only will she and her team at Haus of Gaga be in charge of the window dressings, but they'll also take over a whole floor of the famed upscale store and make it over in true Gaga fashion.

Gaga will create her version of Santa's Workshop -- and we're both intrigued and terrified to learn just how the Lady interprets the North Pole. She'll even appear on the Barney's bags this season, so shoppers, you'll want to hang onto those -- we're sure some Little Monsters who can't make it to NYC for Christmas will be happy to snatch them up on eBay.

Okay, so maybe we're not quite in the holiday spirit yet, but we'll come around by the time the Gaga extravaganza opens in mid-November. She'll even be selling special Gaga's Workshop gifts for charity! So if your little ones are just dying to find a bed shaped like a womb or bumpy face prosthesis under the tree, you may be in luck.
