Kim Kardashian picks Vera Wang for wedding dress

We've seen the hematite-encrusted invitations to Kim Kardashian's upcoming wedding to Kris Humphries and now the reality TV star has revealed her choice in gown designers: Vera Wang. "Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years," Kardashian wrote on her blog Monday (Aug. 1). "When it came to picking my wedding dress designer she was the first person I thought of. No one designs gowns the way she does!"
"What a glorious moment," said Wang in a statement to E! "I am so thrilled to be dressing Kim for her wedding to Kris Humphries!"
"Kim and I often spoke of creating a fantasy wedding gown," she continues. "I'm so excited! As a friend of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, I wish the engaged couple all the joy and happiness in the world!"
What do you think, zappers? Should Kim (as "Project Runway's Tim Gunn suggested) go for a sleek wedding day look or, sticking with the invitation theme, go for gown gusto with an over-the-top creation? We're sure in Wang's hands, over-the-top can actually be tasteful.
