Kenny Ortega set to direct 'Dirty Dancing' remake

Say it ain't so! Not only is a "Dirty Dancing" remake in the works, but it already has a director set and everything.Deadline is reporting that Lionsgate has signed "High School Musical" director Kenny Ortega to helm the remake. The film is a high priority for the studio meaning it very well could start production in the next few months.
On the bright side, Ortega is the choreographer of the original film, so his involvement with the remake gives us a little hope that it might live up to the original.
Now, who should play Baby and Johnny?
