Jani Lane, ex-Warrant singer, found dead

Jani Lane, who once led hair-rock band Warrant to the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 with the 1989 hit "Cherry Pie," is dead at 47.Lane, according to TMZ, was found dead at a Woodland Hills, Calif., Comfort Inn hotel.
Although Lane left Warrant permanently in 2004, he continued with his musical career, releasing a solo album and touring as a stand-in lead singer for Great White on a 2010 tour. In 2005, Lane also appeared on VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club."
No cause of death has yet been released, but Lane is known to have a history of alcohol abuse. In 2010, Lane was ordered to serve 120 days in jail for a DUI conviction.

I am going to miss Jani Lane, He was one heck of an artist and a good man. Yes he had his issues,but who doesnt in life at one time or another. R.I.P. Jani I will seriously and sincerely miss you.
I will miss Jani a lot, his music, his smiles, his sarcastic remarks. We all have our issues that we deal with in life, that doesnt mean that we should have to take to the grave with us.
R.I.P. Jani, You will be sadly missed.
Of all the lead singers in all the hair bands of the late 80s and early 90s, I always thought Jani Lane was the hottest. Sorry to hear that he died!

Um, Dr Drew did not treat Jani Lane. He was on Celebrity Fit Club, to lose weight. Different show.
