Hailey Clauson sues Urban Outfitters, Jason Lee Parry over 'salacious' t-shirt

hailey-clauson-jason-lee-parry.jpgOh, year after the photo shoot regret. That's just the worst.

Hailey Clauson, a 16-year-old model who has worked for Gucci, Donna Karan, Oscar de la Renta, Calvin Klein and Diane von Furstenberg, is suing Urban Outfitters, two other realtors and photographer Jason Lee Parry, over a t-shirt featuring a photo Parry took of Clauson last year doing a shoot on the back of a motorbike.

While the photos were taken with Clauson's parents approval and according to Parry her father was there for at least part of the session, Clauson claims that no releases were signed allowing him to sell the images to the clothing company Blood Is The New Black, who in turn made t-shirts out of them and sold them to Urban Outfitters among others.

The key issue here seems to be one of who holds the rights to the photos, but that's not keeping Clauson's lawyers from dressing it up and portraying Parry as having taken inappropriate pictures of an underage girl.

The lawsuit states, "She is posed in a blatantly salacious manner with her legs spread, without a bra, revealing portions of her breasts.

"The image of Teen in a spread eagle position making her crotch area the focal point of the image may portray a child in a sexually suggestive manner and may be in violation of one or more federal and/or state laws."

All of this adds up to a picture that "forces" Clauson "to be the object of prurient interests and provides wallpaper for the likes of pedophiles."

For his part, Parry has taken to TV to defend himself and photos. "She's a professional model. She posed herself."

WHAT *******?

Although, Hailey indeed posed for this picture, I bet she didn't know her bottoms would look like that. After all, it also depends on which angle the photographer took it. That's why they only noticed how inappropriate it looked after the final product.

If I were the photographer, he should have left this picture out in the first place, knowing that it was an underage girl. Instead of blaming it to the girl for posing.

Oh well, he wasn't in the right mind.

It's stinks of a cash grab by greedy parents and always sleazy lawyers - there's nothing wrong with the image.

I'm sure as a professional model and an It girl at the moment, that she's done much more provative poses than this. Check out Chadwick Tyler's website. The lawsuit is all about more money, which I don't understand as she is very wealthy by this time.

I think her parents just want money, since she is the model she does her own poses. also in the video of the shoot the photographer dosnt tell her to pose like that she does on her own.
