Drew Carey's jogging injury; pal Colin Mochrie makes a mockery

"The Price is Right" host Drew Carey had a bit of a jogging accident Tuesday (Aug. 16). He tweeted to his followers, "Hey everyone! Had to cancel #TPIR tapings today. I fell while running this AM and separated my clavicle. Be back tomorrow though!"Yikes. But in another example of why we love Twitter, Drew included a picture of his separated clavicle along with, "A pic of my xray. Haven't even had a pain pill yet! (But I'm due. Still waiting on them.)." Awesome. He also says, "Just saw doctor. No surgery needed. No "snapping into place". Just ice and time... Oh, and I'll probably have a lump w/out surgery."
And in yet another example of why Twitter is great, Drew's old pal Colin Mochrie from "Whose Line is it Anyway?" tweeted at him, "@DrewFromTV I had a broken ankle, wrist and pelvis on Season 4 of Whose Line. P****! Take care friend."
Drew has recently lost over 80 lbs in response to being diagnosed with type II diabetes, so apparently running is one of the way he shed the pounds. Good for him. We hope you get well soon, Drew!

They need to replace Carey on TPIR sooner rather than later. this guy is awful as the host of this show. Just painful to watch.
I think Drew does well as TPIR host. I watch it more now than I did when Barker was host.
I think Drew is great as host. I miss Bob Barker but I was shocked at how funny he is as host and how relaxed he makes the contestants feel. Nobody could replace Bob but Drew succeeded him in a good way !!! GET WELL Mr. CAREY !!!
CBS Daytime execs better hope TPIR would indeed end after 40 "priceless" years. Bob Barker was the best game show host ever on television but Drew Carey was like a poor man's Bob Barker and he's by far overrated. The contestants are nothing more than a bunch of mindless zombies at least some of them saw THE HANGOVER PART ONE AND/OR TWO and the models are always hot especially for Rachel Reynolds who looks like Jessica Simpson with a body like Christie Brinkley. Get well Mr. Carey.

I think Drew Cary is a fantastic host for TPIR. I was sad to see Bob Barker go, but no worries, Drew is doing a great, I hope he continues for many more years to come. I wish you a speedy and painless recovery.
Hope you feel better soon Drew!! I love to watch TPIR so much more now.. I didn't think anyone would do as good as BB but you seem genuinely interested in everyone that comes on the show.. Keep up the good work!!! BTW... come to NW Arkansas for the contestants search please... :)
