David Letterman gets death threat from jihadist

And you thought Jay Leno was dangerous adversary. Turns out he's nothing compared to the jihadist who recently called for Muslims to kill late-night host David Letterman.In a story originally reported in Stars and Stripes, a jihadist who goes by the name Umar al-Basrawi implored Muslims online to assassinate Letterman and "cut the tongue of this lowly Jew and shut it forever."
The threat came after Letterman, who is not Jewish, made some jokes about al Qaeda's succession plans following the death of Osama bin Laden.
"So [al Qaeda] picked a successor to Osama bin Laden and his name was Ilyas Kashmiri," Letterman said during his June 8 monologue. "Well, guess what, he was blown up by an American drone." Letterman continued. "It wasn't going to work anyways because they got off to a rocky start with this guy, he botched up the story of Paul Revere," a reference to Sarah Palin's misunderstanding of Paul Revere's ride.
This isn't the first time radical Islamists haven't enjoyed American comedy. In April 2010, they issued threats against "South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker for their plans to have an episode depicting Muhammad.
CBS representatives declined comment. Probably a good idea to pass on that.

I live in Ireland and I am heartily sick of the Muslim Jihadist agenda. I am a non practising Catholic and I hope if I lead a good life and there is a God there that I will end up in his fold. I don't call the Muslim people infidels and threaten to behead them if they ridicule my beliefs, no they are entitled to the satire and so am I. If you don't like it stay in your countries where you can chop appendages and heads and god knows what else off, where you can subjugate woman and spout evil against the world, and the west will leave you alone. They won't buy your oil , we won't aid in your economies, we won't let you come in droves to our countries because it offers ye a better life. I have never and will never utter a comment like cutting out a lowly Jews tongue, in fact the only lowly person is the one who speaks like that!
