Christine O'Donnell: Piers Morgan interview was 'borderline sexual harassment'
Two days after walking out of an interview on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight," former U.S. Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell explained why on "Today.""I wanted to stop that borderline sexual harassment," she tells NBC's Savannah Guthrie on Friday (Aug. 19). "He was being inappropriate and wasn't stopping."
During the Aug. 17 interview, the CNN host asked O'Donnell questions on a variety of topics raised in her book "Troublemaker," including her thoughts on masturbation and the military's Don't Ask/Don't Tell policy. O'Donnell finally had enough when Morgan asked her about gay marriage, and she walked off.
"I'm not being weird, you're being a little rude," she told Morgan before leaving the set.
O'Donnell explains to Guthrie that Morgan was engaging in a "very inappropriate, creepy line of questioning," and that's why she ultimately left.
O'Donnell has a controversial history including her notorious campaign ad with the opening line "I'm not a witch" -- referring to a 1999 appearance on "Politically Incorrect" when she admitted she'd "dabbled" in witchcraft. In 1996, She also appeared on MTV's "Sex in the '90s" and discussed anti-masturbation stance.
As for Morgan, he told "Access Hollywood" he felt he was in the right. "It was a bizarre situation where I was asking her what I thought was a perfectly valid question," he said.

Funny how she spouts her bigotry 24/7, then gets offended if anyone mentions it.
Sounds like mental disorder, to me.
Sexual harassment? Really? I'm not sure Ms. O'Donnell even knows what that means if she thinks the questions were anything like sexual harassment. She wanted to talk about things addressed in her book, and the gay issue was in there.
I just don't understand how people like her get elected into office. We as a people are pretty danged gullible, I suppose.
Nobody watches Piers but this will help her book sales though.
Trouble Maker indeed.
Wow - she really steps into the loonie bin category with these latest comments. Not that she hadn't previously, as most anything she says either doesn't make sense or is so full of hatred that you just have to pity the fool that believes her.
The only reason that people like O'Donnell and Michelle Bachman are making headlines is that they are spouting nonsense and hatred, and are to laughed at and pitied, NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY! Please!
ugh who on earth paid her to write a book? she is such an embarassment. i don't know anyone who respects anything she has to say it just feels like the media likes to parade her out there to be laughed at and she allows it to happen over and over again. so it's her own stupidity.
she just blew whatever little sympathy people may have had for her after that interview
This woman has some serious issues she needs to attend to.
She is an idiot. Perfect example of the nut case "Tea Party".
No one watches Morgan, he's another mistake that CNN has made. This is the most press he's gotten since that low rated show went on the air, he should go back the England and hack some celeb cell phones.
This beeyotch makes me sad for the rest of my gender...especially the ones who HAVE been victims of sexual harassment. I merely thought she was clueless before; now I believe she is mentally challenged in that she uses words that she clearly doesn't understand.
Better to be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt!
