'A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas' trailer: Claymation, singing Neil Patrick Harris and stoned children
It figures that Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) would take the third entry in stoner buddy comedy franchise into the third dimension.
"A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas," which arrives in theaters Nov. 4, has released its first trailer -- and in addition to tantalizing the ways in which the comedy will incorporate its somewhat unconventional choice of filming for 3D, it's clear that the spirit of the holidays remains intact.
Not only are we getting cameos from Christmas co-patriarchs Santa Claus and Jesus Christ, at some point there'll be a drug-induced claymation interlude.
Returning co-star Neil Patrick Harris also represents, breaking into song in what we can only hope is a full-on musical number.
Will "A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas" be the latest entry in the catalog of beloved Christmas movies? We're not ruling it out.
