Zara Phillips is next Royal Wedding - William and Catherine's first appearance since L.A.

Zara Phillips, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth and cousin of Prince William, is getting married this weekend to her rugby-player fiancee Mike Tindall. Prince William and new bride Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge will be there in their first public appearance since their trip to North America.Since the wedding is taking place in Edinburgh, Scotland, William and Catherine will go by their Scottish titles, the Earl and Countess of Strathearn. If you'll recall, Queen Elizabeth gave them three titles when they were married back in April - Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to represent Britain, Earl and Countess of Strathearn to represent Scotland and Baron and Baroness Carrickfergus to represent Northern Ireland.
Frankly, if we could make someone call us "Baroness Carrickfergus," we would do it all the time.
Zara's wedding kicks off Friday night (July 29) with a yacht party on the Royal Yacht Britannia, which is docked in Leith. The actual wedding will take place 3 p.m. local time on Saturday. Zara Anne Elizabeth Phillips the daughter of Princess Anne, Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips. At the request of Princess Anne, Zara does not have an official royal title because she descends from the monarch via a female line, which does not entitle her to a title. Interesting.
Congratulations to Zara and Mike. We can't wait to see her dress and what Kate Middleton wears!

@Judith - I agree. It might have been a miscalculation to hold this wedding so close to the other one, since the celebrity factor for William and Kate is still strong, especially since this will be their first Scottish function under their Scottish titles. The fact most folks don't know about the other titles might allow this to slip under the radar a bit.
