Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall: Royal wedding no. 2, done and done
Same crowd, different wedding. On Saturday (July 30), Britain's royal family again turned out in their best togs to celebrate a wedding. While it wasn't quite the match of April's nuptials between heir to the throne Prince William and his universally adored bride Kate Middleton, the family still managed to put on a good show for the marriage of Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The sun was shining as Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Prince Harry, Wills and Kate and the rest of the royals witnessed the wedding.
Phillips, a star equestrian in England, is the Queen's eldest granddaughter; her mother is Princess Anne. Tindall, meanwhile, is the captain of England's national rugby team. And the avid sports-couple will forgo a honeymoon to get back to their athletic commitments. Phillips has to return to show-jumping and Tindall is due at rugby training camp on Monday. The bride wore a gown by Stewart Parvin, reports the Telegraph, "with a full cathedral-length silk tulle veil and flowers by the London florist Paul Thomas." Shoes were by Jimmy Choo and atop her head the Greek Key Tiara, on loan from mum.
Also on hand, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie:
