'Spy Kids 4' trailer: You can practically smell Joel McHale
A brand new "Spy Kids 4: All The Time in the World" trailer has hit the web, and this time, it's got more details about the Aromascope technology that has taken this movie from 3D to 4D. Yes -- thanks to a handy little card, you'll be able to smell the movie while you watch it.We just hope that you can't smell the puke that gets hurled out of the little Spy Kid jet. Gross.
The technology sounds an awful lot like scratch-and-sniff to us, so we're withholding judgment. In the meantime, watch the trailer to see a pregnant Jessica Alba kick some butt. And there's a robot dog, voiced by Ricky Gervais. Who doesn't love a good robot dog?
The villain, who calls himself the Timekeeper, is played by everyone's favorite cranky agent, Jeremy Piven. He's figured out a way to actually steal time -- unless, of course, a bunch of pre-adolescents and a robot dog can save the day. We have faith in the robot dog, y'all.
The trailer also gives us a bit of insight into Alexa Vega's role in the movie, which will be released in theaters on August 19. Will you be checking out the new smelly technology?

Well, I hope the dog in the poster doesn't take a crap in the movie. It'd be great for the smell-o-vision! Seriously, though, scented movies?
