Serena Williams pink ESPYs dress: Yay or nay?

The Williams sisters' court fashion always draws attention, but at the ESPY Awards, Serena Williams' red carpet look was a far cry from her tennis whites. Ranked No. 172 in the world, Williams wore a plunging pink dress with a blazer-style bodice. She towered at over 6 feet tall in four-inch gold Louboutin heels.Many sports enthusiasts criticized Serena's win for Best Female Tennis Player at the awards ceremony, since she's missed out on many playing opportunities this year. She injured her foot at Wimbledon last July and needed surgery, which caused more health complications this March when she was hospitalized for a pulmonary embolism.

Serena is actually the best female tennis player currently. Her foot injury was not at Wimbledon; it was at a restaurant. Ms. Williams also suffered a life threatening illness that kept her from playing for a very long time. Yet... she was able to make it to week two of Wimbledon this year. I do not think any other female tennis player could do the same. She is a great player. You need to get your article facts straight. I also suggest you remove the green envy from your out your attitude and poor writing. Do not forget the fans voted Serena as the best female tennis player. She beat the competition; so, get over it.

It looks like to me serena is selling sex. Why is she always naked. Why is it nescessary for to make a contoversy statement with showing off her body parts. She is a great athlete and one of the best.Why is it when people who are successful always feel the need to sell there body next. Its like every time you see her everything is tight fitting and some nakedness somewhere. She has no class when it comes to dress. Seems like she needs so much more attention. You would think being one of the best tennis players would be enough. She will probably be in the center fold of playboy next.
