Miranda Kerr: 'I actually thought I was going to die' during childbirth
Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr gave birth to her first child, son Flynn with husband Orlando Bloom, back in January. And she is already back at work - but on a much smaller scale than pre-Flynn."I was working 18-hour days. Now the pace has slowed so I can spend the majority of my time with Flynn--we have a bath together every night," Kerr tells InStyle Australia. "I'm so blessed that I can bring him to work."
Kerr continues that she's "first a wife and a mother, and then comes work. When I work, it needs to be the best decision for us as a family."
Miranda also talked with US Weekly about her natural childbirth experience, which sounds like it was pretty painful.
"I actually thought I was going to die at one point and left my body. I was looking down on myself, the pain was so intense," says Kerr. "I kept thinking, 'How do women do this? But if other women have done this, I can do it too. I was determined."
Miranda and Orlando will celebrate their first wedding anniversary in just a few short weeks. Congratulations to them on their happy family.
