Maria Shriver turns down offers for TV hosting gigs

Maria Shriver has officially filed for divorce from her husband Arnold Schwarzenegger after it was revealed he had an affair with their housekeeper and has a 13-year-old son from the affair. And now TMZ is reporting that Shriver has been inundated with offers to host TV shows, but so far she has been saying thanks, but no thanks.TMZ says that everything from talk shows to news magazine programs to news organizations have approached the former news anchor, but she is just wanting to concentrate on being a mom. She also has turned down any interviews so far. The prediction is that if she does one, it will be Oprah who snags it.
Shriver is no stranger to TV hosting and anchoring. Before she was the First Lady of California, she co-anchored the "CBS Morning News," NBC's "Sunday Today" and "NBC Nightly News" on Sundays. She won Peabody Award for journalism for an hour-long documentary she did for "Dateline NBC" on Wisconsin's welfare reform program in 1998.

So what who wants to see her as on TV anyway. She should continue the tradition of the KENNEDY family of adultery and lies just like Bobby, Johnny and Mr.Potatoe Head Teddy. Their wifes stayed with them for quite sometime after they knew they cheated on them.
Maria is a classy lady who has lived her life in public with style and a demonstrated committment to helping others. Anti-Kennedy rants have no place on this page. They just reveal how moronic some people are in this country.
Like a "Kennedy Stepford Wife" she stood by him as he bankrupted Cali with his Liberal Policies.

I have always thought so much of her and it would be terrific if she and Oprah were a team! Arnold is lower than her and I only hope he stays out of the public eye- forever!
Come on, folks! You've got to have some compassion for the woman. Her husband cheated, fathered other robots, and after all she's had to put up with in the political arena, married to a mechanical sperm bank, and then to have her trust shaken by his cheating *** - she deserves every happpiness. Good for her if she wants to turn down a TV gig. She should just concentrate on being happy. F*** her soon-to-be EX husband.

How can people be so mean - I just hope you have done as much good for the common good of this world as Maria Scriver and the Kennedy family has in spite of all their heartbreak- Maria is a lady and you are jealous!
