Linda Hamilton to Sgt. Ray Lewis: 'Rumor has it you like your actresses vintage'

So says Linda Hamilton, star of of the first two "Terminator" films and mom of Intersect extraordinaire, Chuck Bartowsky.
Last week, two Marines snagged dates to upcoming Marine Corps Balls with "Friends With Benefits" co-stars Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake via YouTube videos. Admittedly, we inwardly groaned when Sgt. Ray Lewis jumped on the band wagon Monday (July 18) and extended an invitation to 90-year-old actress Betty White to accompany him.
White declined, citing scheduling conflicts with her TV Land series "Hot in Cleveland." But then things got really weird.
A sunglasses-wearing (due to crying all night over his predicament) Hamilton took to YouTube herself on Tuesday with the opener, "Rumor has it you like your actresses vintage."
After stating that had talked for hours with White about how how upset she was that she wasn't able to accept his invitation, Hamilton offered herself up as a substitute, reasoning that while she's only "half as mature" as White she's "twice as funny."
Sgt. Lewis has awhile to mull his options. The balls aren't held until this November. But, really, the best part of this story is the very idea of Linda Hamilton and Betty White gabbing on the phone for hours.

Pitiful..just pitiful. Has her career gone that much downhill to resort to this? I though Paris Hilton was a media ***** and slut, but this woman..sheesh!
Looking at a couple of the comments here, some folks need to grow a sense of humor. In the YouTube culture actors and actresses are taking to YouTube all the time for fun. Hamilton's been involved in a number of major shows like Chuck and Weeds in recent months - she doesn't need the publicity. She clearly did it for fun. (Anyone ever see the staring contest clip Jessica Alba posted to YouTube a year or so ago?) I wouldn't be surprised if this clip wasn't connected to Funny or Die or similar sites.
This is a nice gesture. She is reported to have 70 million dollars in the bank (she got 50 million in her divorce settlement with James Cameron), so, I'm guessing that she doesn't need publicity. She's working (plays Chuck's mother on the show Chuck, and if nobody has noticed, is pretty hot. Not 20 something hot, but mature woman hot which is better. If you don't think that Kunis/Timberlake weren't after a little publicity, you are delusional. This woman can sit home if she wants. Good for her.
Yep, this lady is rich. Clearly she is able to do what she likes, when she likes, so if this tickles her fancy then why not? She is VERY hot and I'd JUMP at the chance!
