Lily Collins as Snow White: First pic from Comic-Con

The first official picture from the two competing Snow White movies has been released. Congratulations on winning that race, Relativity Media.The company's currently untitled movie (it had been going by "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White") stars Lily Collins ("The Blind Side") as Snow White, and she looks appropriately innocent and pure in the picture above, which was unveiled Friday (July 22) at Comic-Con. This is the Snow White movie, by the way, that also stars "The Social Network's" Armie Hammer and Julia Roberts as the evil queen. It's from director Tarsem Singh ("Immortals," "The Cell"), and the somewhat otherworldly backdrop behind Collins looks like it's in keeping with his visual style.
This film is scheduled for release in March. The other Snow White movie, "Snow White and the Huntsman," is set for June 2012 and stars Kristen Stewart ("Twilight"), Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth ("Thor"). It's supposed to be darker than the Disney version of the tale most of us know.
We'll wait and see what Stewart's Snow White looks like. For now, what do you think of Collins in costume?

I honestly don't think the Lily movie and the Kristen movies should be compared. The one with Lily is the classical, sweet, innocent Snow White. While in the Kristen movie, she's a bad ***, warrior, super princess. It's darker, more raw and real with Kristen.
I like Lily Collins better as Snow White than KStewart. Stewart manages to look and act like a crackhead in every film she does. Unfortunately, the Stewart version of Snow White looks like its going to have more star power. Claflin as the Prince? Heck yeah, much better than the no name in this version :-/ I'll def want to see both of them. This one looks like it's going to have better filmography.
