Lady Gaga fans attack Adele over VMA nominations -- what's up, Monsters?

The Little Monsters were outraged that their idol only received three nominations this year. Last year, she got 13 noiminations and won eight Moon Men, including video of the year for "Bad Romance."
"CONFIRMED: Gaga will not be wearing the meat dress at the 2011 VMA's because she is afraid Adele will eat her," one angry fan tweeted.
Low blow. This is a far cry from the anti-bullying message of acceptance Lady Gaga promotes.
"NO. i am NOT supporting stupid fat hyped up Adele," says another Little Monster. "In categories that Gaga isn't in I will be supporting Britney Spears and Kanye West."
It's no secret this has been an exceptional year for Adele. Her sophomore album, "21," is the top-selling album of year so far, and with her seven nominations she is ruling the music video scene as well.
While not all Gaga fans feel this way, it's a shame that some feel the need to go out of their way to tear the British singer down. Especially when Mother Monster herself has nothing but praise for her.
These Little Monsters need to wise up before they turn into real monsters.

i'm a lil monster n i'm not happy to hear my fellow monsters are attacking adele for her nominations,i do think that its very suspicious that lady gaga was put in just 3 categories ,n adele in 7 when she only has 1 video which is very simple in my opinion ,we have to just wait n see at the grammys which to me matter more than the vmas ,dont hate on adele lil monsters please,i bet lady gaga wont even be at the vmas this year anyway.
Grow up! Let's face it, Lady Gaga's newest album is no way near as good as Bad Romance. Does she have to dominate every award show every year? Adele deserves the spotlight because her album is excellent and she is truly talented.
Boohoo, Gaga was not nominated enough. Adele is an incredible singer and she deserved to get the number of nominations that she did. And I'm sure Gaga will be disgusted by the fact that people are attacking Adele by calling her "fat" and "monstrous". Seriously, guys?
Adele has made her name known through VOICE ALONE. GaGa did it through wearing gimmicky clothes and copying the styles of Grace Jones and Madonna. These GaGa fans are weak and pathetic at most. They can't understand that there are other musicians on the planet that work hard to get where they are and are just as deserving. Last year's Grammys proved that by not awarding all these so-called "pop artists."
Last I checked, Adele didn't have to wear a meat dress to get recognized.
Adele has nothing to do with the nominations, kiddies. Your anger, which is not warranted, should be directed at the voters in this case, whoever they may be.
Seriously, who even cares about these awards? I mean, why would a fan be so upset that a singer didn't get a nomination for some award? How does that impact their life in any way?
I feel very sorry for anyone who's life is governed by whether or not some person they don't know does or doesn't receive a nomination for something. Is your life that sad???
If Gaga cared more about her music than what outfit will get her the most attention she might have gotten more nominations.

I'm on twitter and I know for a fact that Britney fans and Rihanna fans were saying AWFUL things about Adele,and I've heard Gaga's album and I mean I liked it, not the best, but it wasn't bad. I'm looking forward to Gaga's jazz album and her feature on Tony Bennett's album. For the record, I ALWAYS thought Gaga was more inspired by Bowie and annoys me a little bit when people point to Madonna
Adele had a great one hit wonder. And "Rolling In The Deep" is a great song, but as far as her video? ...I mean come on. This is the Music VIDEO Awards ...not the Grammys...
