Kristen Stewart drops out of her mother's film, but her brother is in

Kristen Stewart has been long rumored to star in her mother's directorial debut, "K-11" along with her "Twilight" co-star, Nikki Reed, but now Variety confirms what has long been suspected. Both girls have dropped out of the film to focus on other professional obligations.

In the film, however, is Kristen's older brother, Cameron Stewart, who will be making his feature film debut as an inmate named Sledgehammer alongside Goran Visnjic, D.B. Sweeney and Portia Doubleday.

After being pushed back several times, filming is finally underway on this Stewart family passion project about a record producer who wakes up after a three-day binge in a special unit of L.A. County's Men's Central Jail ruled by a transsexual named Mousey.

And, yes, for all you haters who call Kristen "mannish," she was originally slated to play Mousey. The role has been recast with Kate del Castillo.
