Jordin Sparks covers Demi Lovato's 'Skyscraper'
"It's amazing. Demi did an amazing job with it. And I'd like to put my spin on it for you guys."
So says "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks in a new video she posted on WhoSay on Monday, July 18. In the video, Sparks covers Demi Lovato's new single "Skyscraper," which shouldn't be too surprising as Sparks tweeted her love for the song last week.
"GIRL you KILLED that! Thanks for keeping my bgvs on it! You're gonna change hearts w/ this song!," Sparks tweeted to Lovato after the song debuted. ("Skyscraper" reached No. 1 on iTunes just hours after it was released.)
Sparks' video is really simple -- black and white and filmed in front of the singer's computer -- and Lovato's original version plays in the background.

I liked it but I liked Demi's verson better.
Jordin Sparks is an amazing singer. I like how simple this was too, with her just singing in front of her computer...shows how talented she is.
I love Jordan Spark's version better. There is more emotion to it.
