Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony split after 7 years of marriage
Jennifer Lopez and her huband of seven years, Marc Anthony, are divorcing. The couple says in a statement that they've made the "very difficult decision" to end their marriage.
"We have come to amicable conclusion on all matters," Lopez and Anthony say in a statement given to Us Weekly. "It is a painful time for all involved, and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."
Lopez, 40, and Anthony, 42, dated for a short time in the 1990s but became a serious couple in early 2004, after she broke up with Ben Affleck and he was divorcing former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres. They married in a small ceremony in 2004 and have 3-year-old twins together, Emme and Max. Anthony also has two sons from his marriage to Torres.
Lopez was back in the spotlight this year as a judge on "American Idol," and reports in the past week have suggested she's close to a deal to return next season. She and Anthony performed together on the "Idol" finale in May.

HOLY CRAP!
who would have thought that their marriage will have.. after those sweet thingy in AI
He is a creepy little guy, who hangs on her like a bad rash. Notice during the entire season of AI - he never let her out of his sight. She can do WAY better.
KARMA FOR THE BOTH!!
It lasted this long cause they did everything together. He must have messed up cause it was sudden
It's really sad how couples just have a small or it can even be a huge problem, but it's easier to put an end to the marriage, rather than looking at marriage the way God does. What happens to the children now? Yes, money is not the problem!
It was amicable and quiet. Why does one have to be at fault ? Good luck to both of them and hopefully it will stay friendly for the sake of the children.
Jennifer Lopez will be my future wife.
:-(
He's a great actor, there was not even a hint of this when he was on The Talk.
