Hillary Scott, Chris Tyrell engaged

Lady Antebellum's lead singer Hillary Scott is engaged to her boyfriend of a year, drummer Chris Tyrell. According to People, their blooming relationship in 2010, when they met on the Tim McGraw tour, was the inspiration for Lady Antebellum's song "Just a Kiss."

The couple got engaged on the 4th of July, when Tyrell, 24, proposed to Scott, 25, at sunset at a lake in eastern Tennessee.

Scott tells People, "Chris proposed exactly the way I've always dreamed. Our families were close by, but it was just us out on a beautiful deck overlooking a lake in East Tennessee. We had just been on a hike and - in our workout clothes - he hit the knee! We feel so blessed by God that He sent us each other, and we are looking so forward to forever together"
