First look: 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows' trailer

On Tuesday we got a peek at posters for the upcoming "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows." Now, Warner Bros. gives us our first look at the movie in a newly-released trailer.

In the follow-up to Guy Richie's 2009's "Sherlock Holmes" reboot, Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) battles his nemesis, Moriarty, played by "Mad Men's" Jared Harris. His trusty sidekick Watson (Jude Law) is back, too. Also along for the ride, Noomi Rapace -- the Swedish actress who, in our book, IS Lisbeth Salander.

The 2:22 minute trailer is action heavy, but we get a sense of the expected sparkling dialogue and -- bonus! -- Robert Downey Jr. in drag.

"Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" hits theaters in December 2012.
