DMX out of jail: Can he stay on the straight and narrow?
Rapper DMX was released from an Arizona jail on Tuesday after serving seven months for a parole violation. AllHipHop reports that he was met by family and friends and, after checking in with his probation officer, he spent his first day as a free man shopping and catching up with loved ones.
"I'm feeling good ... feeling really good," he says in the video, shot 15 minutes after his release. "I spoke to my daughter, I just got off the phone with my wife ... I'm going to go see my daughter while the sun is up then I'm going to be in the studio man."
X was in jail for a string of charges including animal cruelty and drug possession, and according to TMZ, he had plenty of trouble while behind bars, too. He was cited for drug possession, failing or refusing a drug test, smoking illegally, being disrespectful, disruptive, and disorderly.
Do you think he can keep it together now that he's on the outside?
