Dakota Fanning's drastic new haircut: Is it a wig?

Dakota Fanning stepped out in London while shooting scenes for her latest film, "Now Is Good" -- with a shocking new hair-do! Dakota's character is battling leukemia while she tries to cross items off of her bucket list... including losing her virginity. The movie is based on the novel "Before I Die" by Jenny Dowham.Fanning famously refused to shave her head to play a cancer victim in "My Sister's Keeper," and she ultimately lost the role as a result. So did she have a change of heart about going the extra mile to depict the downsides of chemotherapy, or is her new look a wig?
You can see more photos of the cut at Just Jared. We're betting that she's got her shoulder-length locks tucked up under a bald cap, because going Emma Watson short doesn't seem to be Dakota's style.
