Casey Anthony's first interview: Do we have $5 million?

Since Casey Anthony's release many have wondered where she is and what she's doing.

Recent rumors have placed Anthony in Southern California. Now the newest round of gossip says that she is ready to talk ... for a price.

Television producer Al Taylor claims he met with Anthony in Palm Springs and struck an interview deal for the sum of $1 million.

"I got a call early Tuesday morning, from a representative that said if you want to meet with her, be in this certain area in 15 minutes," Taylor tells Dr. Drew Pinsky. "I was game. I showed up. I wasn't for sure if I was going to meet her, and sure enough, she was there."

Though he says the meeting went well, Anthony was reluctant when faced with the idea of taking a lie detector.

"I don't think it was a deal breaker, but she definitely wasn't that interested in doing a lie detector."

Money might be the deciding factor. Taylor says one of Anthony's main concerns was  ensuring that she would actually get the money in the end. However, there is competition for the high profile interview. Schalmo Productions, an Ohio-based company, has offered her $5 million for the first interview.

And then, of course, there's the denial from Anthony's camp. Following Taylor's interview, Anthony's attorney Jose Baez released the statement that, "Neither I nor Casey Anthony have ever met with or have any intention of meeting with Al Taylor."
