'Battleship' trailer: Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch take on aliens, look hot

Whoever cast Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgard as brothers should give themselves a pat on the back. Go on, we'll wait.

OK, so "Friday Night Lights"' Kitsch and "True Blood's" Skarsgard really don't look alike, but they both are extremely hot and are TV actors looking for their big movie break, so we'll take it!

The two actors star in "Battleship," which Yahoo! Movies describes as "an epic action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over the land as out planet for survival against a superior force." Translation: Aliens in the water! (Yes, the movie is based on Hasbro's naval game.)

This first teaser trailer focuses mainly on Kitsch, who seems to be the Navy's ultimate bad boy (we know this because basically Liam Neeson says so). We only catch a few quick glimpses of Skarsgard so here's hoping the next trailer focuses on his character.

Rihanna, Brooklyn Decker and Josh Pence also star in the film set to hit theaters May 18, 2012.
