Ashley Harlan, Ben Roethlisberger wed in Pennsylvania

Ashley Harlan and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger wed Saturday (July 23) in Ohio Township, PA. In addition to the normal attendants of family members and friends, several teammates, Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, members of Steelers ownership, front office and coaching staff were also in attendance.According to USA Today, Tomlin and Roethlisberger had to gain special permission from the NFL to have Tomlin attend, since due to the NFL lockout, team personnel are barred from having contact with the players until the lockout is over.
Roethlisberger has been in the news in the past for less-than-stellar reasons - a motorcycle accident where he sustained serious injuries due to not wearing a helmet, and two allegations of sexual assault. But now he says he has turned over a new leaf.
The pastor at the couple's church tells the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, "In a day and age when it is so much easier to go down a different road, Ben has chosen to go God's way. He sets a wonderful example for children. He is a good role model, and he is doing it God's way. He has proven he has changed."
Congratulations to Ashley and Ben! In lieu of gifts, the couple is asking for charitable donations.

you can put lip stick on a pig and it is still a pig... i find it truly fascinating that he had a girl friend and a Pastor stating: "Ben has chosen to go God's way." He chose that path rather than being Bubba's room mate... besides which, Ashley has softer hands, LOL ~ good luck LOSER!!!
Ben says they've been on/off for six years - but never once have they been seen together while he is out and about all over town with numerous women -- and many times photographed and had stories run about these so-called girlfriends -- but never this one. Not once. In six years. How is that a girlfriend? And how is that even possible? Ben & his PR team think we are indeed very gullible- and many of us are sadly.
............I've heard of occasions like this- they usually occur in India as arranged marriages.
This is the same Ashley Harlan that has had numerous affairs with married physicians. She always felt she deserved a rich man-any rich man-, so Ben and Ashley are indeed meant for each other. No need to make comments about her stupidity. Their entire connection is business- affection will come soon enough. I know many of the wives of the physicians that Ashley played around with have no respect for her, but the girl with all the money in the end wins! She is of low moral ground herself so Ben is of her own kind.....and when the truth comes out about how they met......wait for it!
Seriously? I love the Steelers LOVE them but don't try to play me for a fool. Ben is a punk and finding God (I didn't realize he was lost) isn't going to change that. I give it a year. Best of luck to her.
