Angelina Jolie, Sarah Jessica Parker top Forbes highest paid actresses list

Angelina Jolie's 2010 movies, "Salt" and "The Tourist," may not have been well-received by critics, but we're imagining Jolie herself was probably pleased with the films since they made her one of Hollywood's highest paid actresses. At least according to the latest list from Forbes, which estimates her income at $30 million.Jolie tied with Sarah Jessica Parker, who still makes most of her ducats from the "Sex and the City" franchise, for the top spot. Parker also pulls hefty profits from a line of perfumes and a line of clothes she helps design for Halston.
And in second place another tie -- this time between Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, both of whom brought in $28 million between May 1, 2010 and May 1, 2011.

I challenge ONE person to tell me how a movie producer would justify paying box-office poison Julia Roberts $20-million for a flick. That's like flushing money down the toilet.
Hey Jason you might want to check how much money Julia Roberts movies have made in total. It's in the billions, not really "box-office poison.
coling is right. "Larry Crown" may be off to a mediocre start (largely thanks to "Transformers: Dark of the Moon"), but otherwise her movies still do good. Her last movie, "Eat Pray Love" made $80.5 million domestically and $205.8 million worldwide. Before that was "Valentine's Day" which made $110.4 million/$217.5 million worldwide. In total, the movies she had been in have made over $5 billion worldwide.
For Jason, which has to be a younger person, never saw a Jason that was over 30...Julia Roberts is one of the most beautiful stars, with talent...Too bad you don't like her but most of America does....She Kim Basanger, and Holly Hunter all grew up within 65 miles of one another in Georgia...I am in Seattle, but love all three.
