Al Pacino's daughter, Julie Pacino, arrested for DUI

Julie Pacino, the 21-year-old daughter of actor Al Pacino, was arrested on Saturday (July 30) in New York on charges of driving under the influence.

The arrest happened at 1:35 a.m. after the just-legal Pacino drove through a DWI checkpoint on West Houston Street in Manhattan.

"She had bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech and the strong smell of alcohol on her breath," officer James Duffy tells People. "She admitted to drinking three beers and smoking marijuana prior to entering the checkpoint."

Dad reportedly rushed to New York following the arrest. Julie was arraigned on Saturday afternoon and released on her own recognizance.
