According to CNN, Prince Frederic von Anhalt earlier announced that he would like to cut back on the expenses of such a large home and its staff. He hopes to move into a condo with Gabor that is closer to the UCLA Medical Center, where she has already essentially made a home away from home.
The Hungarian actress' only child, Francesca Hilton, is questioning von Anhalt's right to sell the home. Though her step-father has not allowed Hilton to see her mother for many months, she insists that Gabor would never opt to leave her home in exchange for a condo. Additionally, von Anhalt signed a prenuptial agreement 25 years ago which gives him no ownership over the property. This marriage is Gabor's ninth.
Reportedly the 67-year-old "royal" accessorized the beautiful property, built in 1955, with two porcelain toilets on the lawn. They faced a neighbor's home, with which he had an apparent feud. No word on where the lawn toilets are today, as we imagine they may decrease the selling value a bit.
So what does Gabor think of all this? Who knows! von Anhalt has been speaking on behalf of his poor wife for years as she's suffered a laundry list of health issues.

How could he make a woman of that age move? She is familiar with her surroundings and comfortable in her setting. Her daugher needs to step up and take control over her mothers welfare, weather prinz likes it or not. She needs her.

The other 8 marriages ended. As for media hound - He wants the world to remember the contributions she's made. I grew up seeing her on TV; would wonder how she was doing so his updates on her well-being are welcomed - she is on my prayer list. My personal prayer is for me & a mate to take the marriage vow through sickness & health (as they vowed to do 25 yrs ago) then keep the promise when we lose our beauty, vitality, health and sex drive 20 plus years later. I would love to meet the Prince in person, say "well done Prince" and beg him to hold retreats, seminars, workshops and maybe a reality show on caring for a loved one who is having health challenges. Now put that in your pipe and smoke it :)
I'm sure that there is bad blood between her daughter and husband and I am sad for them all for it..but..everything I see tells me she's cared for, strong enough to hold for herself a champagne flute and sip from it and she looks comfortable and in good color.
No..she is not that flamboyant lady she was but it is nice to see her aging with the rest of we mortals. God grant his grace. I think that he is doing a fine job of caring for her, staying with her (and that couldn't have been easy..she was practically royalty) and he seems dedicated. At her age..why would anyone complain at a sip of champagne..a taste of her old lifestyle. For heaven's sake..allow the lady some pleasure. :)
