'Twilight's' Jackson Rathbone on Nikki Reed, Paul McDonald romance
Watch out, Bella Swan. The real life Rosalie is about to steal your thunder, girl! Nikki Reed and "American Idol" Season 10 alum Paul McDonald are reportedly already engaged. Though their romance has been a whirlwind, on-screen "sibling" Jackson Rathbone has nothing but nice things to say about Reed's new love interest.
"Paul's an awesome guy," he tells Zap2it on the MTV Movie Awards red carpet. "We've jammed together a couple times. Paul actually came and played with 100 Monkeys."
100 Monkeys is, of course, Rathbones band in which he plays guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, mandolin, trumpet, harmonica and contributes to vocals. Hello!
"He's a great musician and an awesome guy," the actor adds of McDonald.
When asked whether a musical collaboration could be in the works, Rathbone nods. "Sure," he says. "Why not? I like that idea!"
