Tupac Shakur: Inmate Dexter Isaac confesses to 1994 shooting

Seventeen years after Tupac Shakur was gunned down in Las Vegas, an inmate already serving a life sentence in a New York prison has come forward to say he shot the rapper in an unrelated 1994 incident in Manhattan. Dexter Isaac, currently serving a murder sentence, released a supposed confession to AllHipHop.com. In it, Isaac says he was paid $2,500 by James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond to rob Shakur at gunpoint.
"In 1994, James Rosemond hired me to rob 2Pac Shakur at hte Quad Studio. He gave me $2,500, plus all the jewelry I took, except for one ring, which he wanted for himself. It was the biggest of the two diamond rings that we took. He said he wanted to put the stone in a new setting for his girlfriend at the time, Synthia Ried. I still have as proof the chain that we took that night in the robbery."
"I want to apologize to his family and for the mistake I did for that sucker," continues Isaac. "I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac and Biggie's] mothers some closure."
Isaac is referring to Biggie Smalls (aka Notorious B.I.G.), who was shot to death in 1997. Isaac said he was comfortable going on the record because the statute of limitations on the crime had expired.

He didn't kill Tupac.He's talking about the incident that began the whole Tupac/Biggie fued. Tupac was robbed upon leaving a radio station. He was shot. He blamed Biggie Smalls and Puff Daddy who were also at the building on a different floor. He thought that they had set him up.
